Get ready to enjoy the Northwoods and smell the crackling fire! The campground is open from mid-May through mid-October and consists of 48 individual campsites with electrical hook-up. Campsites are $30.00 per night. Veteran discount of $10 per night available when presenting a valid military ID. You may wish to call ahead to check availability since there are only 20 reservable sites (1, 5, 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 25, 28, 29, 31, 35, 39, 40, 41, 42 and 43) and all other sites are booked on a first come – first serve basis. Pets are allowed in the campground on a leash. Check out time is 1:00pm. Free RV dump station available for paid campers.
Group Camping Sites - If you are looking for more privacy and seclusion, check out the three group sites available for reservation.
Snow Shelter – This group site has a fire pit, outhouse, small shelter and picnic tables.
South Shore (located on the lake) – This group site has a volleyball net, horseshoe pit, fire pit, picnic tables, large open grassy area and pit toilets.
The Deer Camp – This group site is designed for tent or truck campers. It features a fire ring, picnic tables, mature trees for privacy and shade, and a short path that leads to flush toilets and showers.
These sites are non-electric. Fees for group sites are based on 3 camping units at a price of $25.00 per unit. Group sites can be reserved by calling the Park Manager at 715-623-6214. Reservations are accepted starting the first working day after New Year’s Day.
Primitive Hike-In/Boat-In Campsites – For the more rugged camper, check one of our primitive sites.
The Game Lake Campsite is located on the undeveloped Game Lake. This campsite is nestled among towering pines and is accessible only by the Game Lake Nature Trail. This site includes a fire ring, picnic tables, canoe and stacked firewood.
Loon Cry Outpost is located on the east shore of Jack Lake. It is accessible by boat or hiking trail. This site includes picnic tables, fire ring, stacked firewood, total seclusion and your own sandy beach.
High Lake Wilderness Camping Area is located on the undeveloped High Lake, 1 miles south of Veteran’s Memorial Park. All 7 sites are accessible by hiking or boat only. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, drinking water, pit toilets and firewood sales.
Primitive campsites are $25.00 per night. Loon Cry and Game Lake Sites are reservable.
One handicap accessible camping site is available. The park also has a handicap accessible fishing pier and beach.
